Lunaya

The place

In Punta de Zicatela, Puerto Escondido, Lunaya is four villas and nothing extra. Designed with Perma Casco Arquitectura, they hold to a minimalist, refined line — an elegant kind of brutalism.

Exposed concrete walls, tall ceilings, handcrafted wooden furniture. Each villa is generous with space and privacy, and each has its own outdoor plunge pool, a terrace and a sleek bathtub.

There is no restaurant. Instead, a fully equipped kitchen — fridge, induction stovetop, tableware — and a neighbourhood of good tables nearby, Alivo Kuauitl and Chicama among them.
