Quirky curves and circular windows in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca. Opened in November 2023, Xiqué is a sustainable newcomer with a striking contemporary shell, its interiors — by local studio Estudio Carroll — kept to blush pink and wood.
Eight rooms only. Each holds a soothing neutral palette, light wooden furnishings, handpicked objects, and small plants. Plush bedding, a private balcony, a desk, a smart TV, free wifi.
The rooftop is where the day ends: an infinity plunge pool and plenty of room to do nothing at all. On the ground floor, the restaurant works with regional providers on a sustainable, contemporary Oaxacan menu.
