The place

In Coconut Grove, Mayfair House rises from a striking structure by architect Kenneth Treister. New York studio Goodrich reimagined the interiors with a glamorous vintage charm — the 179 guest rooms and suites hold moody jewel tones, handcrafted mahogany furniture, floral patterns, and private balconies over Miami.

Up top, a rooftop pool set with daybeds and umbrellas; downstairs, a 24-hour gym. Three places to eat and drink round out the house. At Mayfair Grill, chef Giorgio Rapicavoli works vibrant dishes over a wood fire, while Sipsip, the rooftop rum bar, pours island-inspired cocktails alongside comforting bites.
