The place
ROKI Collection sits quietly on the shores of Lake Wakatipu, a new sanctuary at the edge of Queenstown. Virginia Fisher's interiors hold to soft blue and neutral — fifteen suites, each with a fireplace, a bathtub, Sans Ceutical toiletries, and the lake and mountains framed in the window.
Wellness is the deeper current. An indoor pool, a fitness centre, a jacuzzi, an ice bath, a sauna. Or give two hours over to the signature ritual.
Chef Paul Froggatt leads three tables. At Essence, European technique meets New Zealand ingredients; The Terrace keeps to seafood.
