The place
The London members' club's first house in Latin America, set inside a historic building in the heart of Colonia Juárez with heavy French and Baroque bearings. The grandeur is real, but worn casually.
Rooms follow the facade's lead — Baroque-inspired, softened with Mexican touches. Neutral tones, wood and velvet, sumptuous king bedding, a rain shower, a minibar, free wifi. Nothing missing, nothing shouting.
The 19-meter pool is the draw: resort-style, lined with yellow-striped loungers and greenery. The kitchen, developed with Michelin-starred chef Christopher Kostow, sends out share-style Mexican plates — caviar with tortilla chips, grilled Baja lobster, slow-cooked short rib.
