In Charleston’s Cannonborough neighborhood, a new building with arched windows, envisioned by Morris Adjmi Architects. The 50 rooms and suites cross vintage with contemporary, and each is built for staying a while — a full kitchen, a washer and dryer, a proper dining space.
The heart of The Nickel is its inner courtyard, a quiet place to sit as the day passes.
Tucked away on the second floor, Bar Daniel keeps things intimate with small plates and craft cocktails. Rosemary Rose, a rooftop bar and lounge with Mediterranean dishes and sweeping city views, is set to debut later this year.
