Villa Arnica

The place

A yellow villa from 1925, on the edge of Lana in the South Tyrol. Villa Arnica was restored in 2019 — carefully, keeping most of what was already there, adding a contemporary hand only where it helps.

Ten rooms and suites, no two alike. White walls, muted accents, herringbone wood underfoot. Restored furniture, curated antiques, a faint floral wallpaper here and there.

Outside, the pool sits in a lush garden lined with yellow-striped loungers — a vintage Mediterranean mood, unhurried. The poolhouse and parlor serve a fresh, casual Mediterranean menu, much of it garden to table.
