The place

A hill in the Serengeti, and eleven tents that all but disappear into it. This is a safari lodge in the fullest sense, set close to the wildlife of the national park.

Each tent holds modern furniture, a private sundeck, an outdoor shower. Some have a pool of their own. The daily game drives put you within reach of the Big Five, and between April and June, the Great Migration moves across the plain.

Everything is taken care of. Three curated meals a day, where local ingredients meet flavors drawn from further afield.
